Experts calculate that ~0.1% of all species are becoming extinct each year.


For instance, Do you use a Gas-powered leaf blower?
A study by Washington University in St. Louis writes, "... gas-powered leaf blower emits nearly 300 times the amount of air pollutants as a pickup truck."


These leaf blowers have now been banned in some cities and in Calif.
Electric ones pollute less. Small changes can make a difference.
