drama school in the early 60s.

"REACH for your audience!" she would command.

The men would groan at the floor exercises.

If you were accepted into Carnegie Tech's Drama program as an actor/actress you had to get into those rehearsal tights. One of my classmates was the actor Frank Converse, who never complained. Same for Rene Auberjonois, one of the most elegant and kind acting students that I knew.

It was a wonderful world.
