People in FL believe their state is doing really well and there are no deaths from virus. I have spoken to a few of them.

5. That's bizarre. Worldometers shows Florida with 58,608 deaths from Covid19.

CDC is reporting the same number.
Are the people of Florida unable to read?
Florida has the 3rd highest number of deaths of all the states.
None are so blind as those who refuse to see.

6. Michigan has 23,000 with half the population of FL and a sane governor.

FL has changed the way they 'count' the deaths. They wait 2 weeks, then backdate the deaths so on a daily basis, it looks like there are hardly any deaths. Nobody goes back and checks what happened 2 weeks ago, so the populace is left ignorant. A lady I know lives in FL half the year and claims "there are so few deaths, they don't even report them anymore." This is what we're up against. folks.

Here's the website. They seem to issue numbers weekly. I like World Meter for overall numbers and trends, especially their predictions, which I track, and which are revised frequently and unfortunately for most state get worse and worse every revision.
The total number of deaths isn't really a valid metric. What you want is deaths per capita. Florida is currently at 9th highest having risen from 14th highest in mid September. Winning Ronnie D!

The Florida Department of Health actually shows the current death count as 58,803, even worse than World Meter.

That in April sent out letters informing their staff not to get vaccinated and that if they did vaccinate they would not be allowed to teach/work with the children. While the letter sent out did not specify this, their was much “anecdotal evidence” suggesting that if too many teachers/staff members vaccinated to keep them on in non-child involved activities, then they would be fired. They then sent a letter to all parents of enrolled students telling them they would not employ teachers who had taken the vaccines.

Incidentally, one of the founders, in August, launched an online data reputation scrubbing service.
