I've been thinking about my high school history classes and women weren't included in much of what we learned. I've often thought of my 9th grade teacher who talked a lot about civil rights and I'm grateful since what he had to say has stuck with me. But as for women, I recall very little. In American History my friends and I were pretty proactive, I can remember us acting out scenarios about what we were learning - and I recall playing James Garfield and John Hancock!
