Donald Trump has gotten his wish, and one of his hand-picked disciples (David Perdue) is running for Georgia's governorship against Republican incumbent Brian Kemp. And, in true Trump fashion, the former President is already whining about the primary being rigged against his candidate. There's obviously no proof of this since Perdue just announced his candidacy, but Trump is laying the groundwork for something to blame when his candidate falls flat. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

1. It's worked for him (sorta) in the past, it'll be his go to excuse from now on

All his disciples feeding his delusions is not going to end well. I think most of the politicians supporting him really know it’s all BS and are counting on him having a total breakdown prior to 2024 election. But in the mean time they’ll kiss his ass and absorb as much of his support as possible. It’s a way easier way to ensure a 30% block of voters than actually working on policy issues. At this time it’s the primary rethug platform, kiss his ring and demonize Dems.
