to stand up and fight for their interests" they'll stop voting for Republicans, that the reason they vote for Republicans is "that people are looking at the Democratic Party and saying 'We don't believe you. We don't trust you. You're really not fighting for us.'" He says that when he goes to those states and tells them they're entitled to higher wages, health care and so on, they nod their heads: "'Yeah, you're right Bernie.' No different in those states than in Vermont or any other state."

Can anyone explain this to me? I don't get it.
