...that education and knowledge can transform many men into caring, thinking humans
that can, over a period of time, breed new beings that are less harmful to society.
...or I like to think so...

.....but I also think that education is devolving into 'training' thanks to the proliferation of the for-profit educational system. All those for profit colleges don't have a need for philosophy, ethnic or gender studies, language, culture or anything like that. No thinking required, no questioning required, just do what you're told....and spend the rest of your life in debt.
