4. Trudeau is fucking up big time.

The protestors are in the capital region covered by the OPS, not the RCMP. The OPS is a very small force, and it’s leaders have been reluctant to take on this group of rowdies.

Premier Ford can’t seem to figure out what to do either.

That leaves Trudeau, who is hesitating to bring the military in to clear the streets.

If I were Jagmeet Singh, leader of the NDP, I would call Trudeau and tell him he has until Monday to take charge of the situation, or his minority government will face a no confidence vote.

IMO, the government should give the protestors 24 hours to clear out (set up a perimeter around the blockade and give them one escorted route out of town). After the deadline passes, all protestors within the blockade zone would be arrested, and their vehicles impounded. If found guilty of charges, the trucks would be sold to cover the fines.

Trudeau needs to quit fucking around.
