Pam Gaskin, a Texas voter whose mail ballot application was rejected twice due to confusing changes from a new GOP voter suppression law, tells Lawrence ODonnell why it was important to her to keep fighting until she finally got her mail ballot. Voting is a blood-bought right, she said. Rep. Colin Allred adds that its ridiculous that voters are dealing with these restrictions in 2022. Aired on 02/16/2022.

Amazing!! Voting for 46 (?) years...
She is very high up in League of Women Voters.
It was very shocking and I do fear what is to come in Texas!!

(205,742 posts)2. It's unbelievable and she's right, how many voters would just give up?
But with her background, they obviously targeted the wrong person - despite the fact that she's exactly the demographic that they're trying to prevent from voting.
