2. I was amazed at the twitter responses when these two guys' Venmo exchanges were posted

(All full of jokey homosexual references -- "For that quickie in Vegas" or the like)

There were dozens of young men who say they do exactly that with their Venmo buddies, make some gay-sex reference. And they thought that was perfectly normal, even, you know, in 2022.
I was baffled. Some "men" really never do grow beyond 14.

Cawthorn is really immature anyway-- homeschooled, only a semester of college, no real work experience, an extremely short marriage, that very limited right-wing worldview, and somehow vaulted to Congress. He's kind of playing out junior high school on a national stage. He probably never got to crotch-grab in locker rooms in 8th grade because he was home-schooled, never got to have a fun roommate relationship in college, so he's doing it now.

Sad, but really, the GOP needs to realize Congress isn't supposed to be a boarding school for repressed juvenile delinquents.
