10. I was sitting in my elementary school classroom on December 14, 2012.

My students were at PE, and I was just browsing the web, catching up on the news, when the horror first began to be reported.
I will remember that day for the rest of my life.

I watched it unfold from the first CNN reports to the end with her sleeping on my shoulder. I had two grandsons in elementary school two blocks away.
