(1,206 posts)I am one of those people who voted for both Barack Obama and Chris Christie. While I have my differences with Gov. Christie, by and large he has done a great deal of work rooting out corruption in the state, as well as run a tight ship, especially during natural disasters.

(674 posts)Christie was visibly impressed and even humbled by the direct help from the President. He couldn't stop praising him and had to be cut off by the network guys. I hopse this endorsement repeats on other networks, especially Fox.

(674 posts)Not wishing to make this a political thing but it's pleasing to see the President get some respect on a channel that intentionally distorts his record and denigrates his image to Americans. The end of the Fox segment has basically the same endorsement from Gov Christie, thanking the Pres. for his attentiveness and help. The Fox guy acts like the President's effort was needed but unexpected. Pricks to the end.
