[]By subpoenaing Kevin McCarthy, Jim Jordan, Scott Perry, Mo Brooks and Andy Biggs, the January 6 committee has put these representatives in a trick bag. Given that these five members of Congress have incriminating information about Donald Trump's responsibility for the insurrection, if they refuse to testify they are committing the crimes of accessory after the fact, misprision of a felony and contempt of Congress. The only way out of the trick bag is for them to testify fully and truthful and suffer the political consequences.
