Kate Kelly, correspondent for the New York Times, talks with Rachel Maddow about how Donald Trump son-in-law and advisor Jared Kushner and Trump Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin used their political positions to make huge financial deals for themselves, and why such flagrant corruption is probably not prosecutable as a crime. (22,156 posts)1. Really is needed, after all, kushner and mnuchin were using fed tax dollars to travel, work under
fed government rules, etc. thus subject to same ethics as the rest of fed. employees are under. But somehow, during all of their work overseas, they managed to score billions for themselves in the meantime. I'd say that they stole time from the job that they were supposed to be doing as a representative of the U.S. and not for themselves (as they obviously were). They should pay back every dime spent on their travel to and from there, all government expenses spent in their hotels, gas, etc. too.
Stealing time too away from the job that they were supposed to be doing too, for the U.S. taxpayer too.
