because the Secret Service was confiscating weapons, so his militia boys didn't attend because they didn't want their weapons confiscated.

That made the crowd smaller, so Pendejo45 told the SS to turn the Mags off so his militia boys could attend and make it seem like the crowd was larger.
"They're not here to kill me."

Implying that they were there to kill Pence.

And we know that he was both fine with the weapons since they didn't threaten him - and with whatever that armed crowd had in store for Pence.
