Or are crazy or are greedy or all 3. Why would anyone give total loyalty without getting anything in return? There is something wrong with them psychologically.

Along the lines of Charles Manson.
Or any of the talented crime bosses.

These people attract criminal types who are easily manipulated.

I have 4 young grandkids, and I try not to think about their future; all I can do is provide life insurance for their mothers, and HOPE (I don't pray) that they will survive with 'decent' lives.

Nearly every revelation coming up now is what we knew years ago.
Everyone always gave Trump the benefit of the doubt, which is what he counted on.
Once that happened,Trump could wriggle out of anything.

13. This wasn't Bill Barr's first time playing cover-up

for a Republican president...he played a role in burying the evidence of George Herbert Bush's involvement in the Iran Contra and Iraq-gate scandals...

Barr had no problem covering up Republican treason but January 6 was what a bridge too far??...once Barr "entertained" and dismissed Trump's voter fraud garbage, he was on his way out which I suspect was by design...Trump's coup was operational and Bill needed an excuse to abandon ship...and in short order came his vomitus revisionist tell-all rag and his reputation retrieval tour..

When the J6 committee came calling Bill saw this as another opportunity to play both victim and hero..he was more than eager to give testimony, paint Trump as an out of control lunatic, throw in a couple of "bullshits" and come out smelling less toxic...not so fast Billy!...the once dead Mueller Report has been resuscitated and is coming back to bite you on your fat ass..

16. I think Bill Barr was protecting Republicanism, not Donald Trump

I think Barr was loyal to the Bush wing of the Republican Party and insinuated himself into the Trump White House for other purposes than to serve Trump. He dumped Trump unceremoniously as soon as Biden won the election.
