We know the National Archives chased Trump and two of his lawyers for missing documents for a year.
We know Trump finally returned 15 boxes in January - some that contained classified material
But the National Archives knew documents were still missing and filed a complaint with DoJ.
Who here thinks they did that without warning Trump and his lawyers? Rhetorical question.
We know the DoJ got involved and tried.
When the DoJ overtures failed, they got two subpoenas from a Grand Jury.
Who here thinks Trump didn't know about the subpoenas? Rhetorical question.
When those subpoenas failed, the DoJ/FBI/Counterintelligence went down to Mar-a-lago and got in writing from Trump's lawyer that they had been given everything - after they found and recovered more documents down there.
Informants told the DoJ that wasn't true - Trump had more documents.
Apparently, reports indicate the subpoenaed CCTV backed them up.
So the DoJ establish criminal probable cause with a Grand Jury, a judge, the FBI Director who Trump appointed, Chief of Counterintelligence who also served in the Trump admin and the Attorney General of the US to get a search warrant.
The search warrant was proven as it delivered what the DoJ/Counterintelligence claimed would be there that Trump lawyers had maintained in writing was not.
And this deceitful asshole on CNN is allowed to waffle on about how "Trump was willing to give them whatever - all they had to do is ask for it" ???
Shame on him and CNN for broadcasting such garbage.
