How can you possibly compete with the GOP when they have all this ammunition to fight back?

This makes you wonder if Kavanaugh's $200K debt buyout came from this guy?

What did Barrett and Gorsuch(?) cost?

He's an old friend of my father's. I have recollections of us spending time with him and his wife when I was in my early teens. From those contacts, I can tell you that he's, well, a guy, and certainly no monster. But he should not have the ability to exert such monster-sized influence on laws that will govern hundreds of millions of people long after he's gone. Neither should I, and neither should anyone.

It's vital that we work to limit the monstrous influence on our government that rich individuals and groups can purchase. Much easier said than done, but I think it's in many ways the most important political battle of our times.
