The country of Russia is in a emotional depression, and Russians are still fleeing. The 20% who supports this insane aggression are getting louder, more violent, more destructive, more hate fuming (equals to USA's RWers).

Russia, OPEC, China using oil as blackmail. Russia also using nuclear as well. But alas, all is slowly backfiring. EU refuse to be blackmailed.

He went to work as a nuclear engineer or something. When asked what it was he liked about America he said, “well, the freedom”. How many of us have forgotten that simple fact

and while there is always a supply of young males who are dumb enough to think there's glory in war, they're losing interest in fighting this particular war. Russia is hemorrhaging young men, especially talented young men.

Putin lost claim to rationality when he discovered the horseshit Alexander Dugin came up with and discovered his messianic purpose. He's just one more guy who stayed in power too long and started to believe his own lies.

If Russia learns anything from this, I hope it's that leaders need to go after ten years. They all seem to go bad after ten years, just about the time they think they've got their inner circle set up well. It means their echo chamber is set up well and nothing good ever comes of having a despot in an echo chamber.

Until he's gone, I'm afraid despair is Russia's lot.
