Not only do Republicans not support police (including Capitol Police!), but also our veterans. I'm sure we remember the Health Care for Burn Pit Veterans Act that Jon Stewart joined veterans to fight so hard for. The truth is that 194 Republican House members voted against it! And that includes my Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik, who recently sent out a campaign flyer boasting of her support for veterans and listed passage of this bill as an accomplishment!
