It is great that Warnock won, but the fact that it was reasonably close, versus a complete joke of a candidate is alarming. It’s clear that a ridiculous number number of Republicans would vote for anything and anybody if there is an “R” beside she, he, it’s name.

MAGAts are beyond redemption, although there aren't enough of them to carry the day for a Herschel Walker or Kari Lake in states have until recently been reliably red.

but this should never have been close. You and I both know that all they need to do in 2028 is dig up some white guy to run, he doesn't need to campaign at all, and Sen. Warnock will be gone.

And that will be tragic.

This election should not have been a close one, but we celebrate the victory so that he can deliver for Georgians and make his next election easier to win.
