We are headed for more attacks on queer spaces. Sadly, all we will get from many is "thoughts and prayers" and few outraged people who will actually support us. Eventually, a Children's Book reading is going to be a target of more than a few randos protesting. I would say the murder of children would make a difference, but 20 plus years of school shootings demonstrate that, nope, they aren't gonna give two shits.
