Now that's a good idea -- having teams from the counterintelligence arena go through all papers, etc., whenever any politician leaves office. Review of everything before the office is packed up.

That would cut down substantially on the number of classified documents that get mingled and boxed up with innocuous ones, before they get moved elsewhere.

It wouldn't get any that the politician had taken home while in office, but it would go a long way.
