Georgia DA Willis states that charging decisions are "imminent" for "defendants" for election crimes

What Fulton County, Georgia, District Attorney Fani Willis said in court today should register as at least an 8 or a 9 on the legal Richter scale.

DA Willis presented 75 witnesses to a special grand jury investigating the Georgia state election crimes of Donald Trump and his corrupt associates. The grand jury has issued a report concerning who should be indicted.

In court today, Willis argued to the judge that the report should not be made public, and the reason she gave is the most direct and concrete indication that we have heard form any prosecutor that Trump and others will be indicted for their crimes. Willis told the judge the following: "We think for the future defendants to be treated fairly, it's not appropriate at this time to have this report released." There is no mistaking that Willis was communicating that there WILL BE DEFENDANTS in the matter. In other words, she is preparing to indict people for their crimes. Additionally, Willis told the judge that her charging "decisions are imminent."

For the first time in a long time, there is the very real prospect of Trump being indicted for at least some of his crimes. - Glenn Kirschner - 01/24/2023.

Do they mean "imminent" in legal time or regular time? Irish_Dem Jan 2023 #6
Only a Georgia State regular Grand Jury can return indictments. Justice matters. Jan 2023 #7

I searched for the answer but could not find the next time that regular GJ will meet. If the special GJ's report is kept under seal, she will present the evidence and recommendations in it to the next regular GJ meeting.

As for when the regular GJ will meet to vote on her presentation, it shouldn't take too long.
