If they are high-ranking, the USIC will take their time with them regarding: Havana Syndrome; Bounties on US personnel in Afghanistan; Moles in CIA, FBI; FSB CI techniques; etc. etc.

Defectors find out more than they give out. Without ground verification, there should be no trust in anything former FSB or GRU say.
