Andrew Weissmann: Fani Willis Gave a Direct Hint that a Donald Trump Indictment is Coming!

Former Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew Weissmann and former Federal Prosecutor Tanya Miller join MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell to discuss the likelihood that Fulton County DA Fani Willis intends to move forward with charges against the former president and his allies regardless of whether Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney decides that the Special Grand Jury Final Report should be made public and the Special Grand Jury dissolved. - Political Voices Network.

James in NY ran on getting an indictment. Within days of taking office, Ms. Willis was focused on her raison d'etre to take down Trump. And Special Counsel Jack Smith wouldn't have been appointed if he weren't goingto find an indictable offense or three.

My one wish is each of these would wait until 2024 is in full swing before annpumcing indictments. However, I suspect some will be announced too early and Trump won't end up in a run, allowing another Republican a legit chance at the throne.

But...indicted he will be! No doubt!

And I sure hope that you're right on the others - I have no doubt that Fani Willis will follow through, but of course we won't hear from Jack Smith (or Merrick Garland) until the investigation is complete, but it has been frustrating that this is taking so long - the violent insurrectionists who stormed the Capitol have been identified, charged, tried, convicted and jailed, we hear about more convictions every day, but TFG is still out there spouting off about "a stolen election," so it's long past time that he faced judgment for all of his crimes.
