The three measures now being considered are NOT “Gun control” bills.

The first simply requires universal background checks.

The second requires locking a weapon up that is not in use.

The third is a Red Flag law, allowing guns to be held temporarily pending a court hearing before a judge.

None of them are “gun control” laws. No one is banned from owning firearms.

Words matter. These are all “Gun safety “ measures.
