Lindsey Graham was an outspoken opponent and critic of Donald Trump when he was running against him in the 2016 primaries - and now it seems like that was the last time we ever heard the truth from Lindsey Graham. Then, he went into that mysterious back room and came out an obsequious Trump sycophant. The same goes for Ted Cruz, who gave his bold and courageous speech denouncing Donald Trump - even at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, to the boos of the crowd of Trump supporters in the audience. That was the last time Ted Cruz ever showed any moral spine or convictions. Then he went into that mysterious back room and also came out a sycophantic Trump supporter. I had a conversation with a Mexican friend of mine in which I told him about Donald Trump's savage attacks on Ted Cruz' wife on the campaign trail, and he laughed in disbelief.

Yeah, what Steve Schmidt pointed out about Lindsey Graham in this video was all there - the darting eyes, the snarling teeth... Steve Schmidt is a true American patriot who isn't afraid to tell it like it is, who isn't afraid to put country over party in these extraordinary times, when the very survival of our country and our democracy demands it. The Democrats should make full use of him in their 2024 election strategizing, and ignore him at their peril.
