Papantonio: Frontline – Obama’s Pals Go Unpunished

Mike Papantonio appears on The Big Picture with Thom Hartmann to talk about the lack of prosecutions for the crimes perpetrated by Wall Street, and why, ultimately, President Obama bears the blame for that failure.

Obama was obviously bought off by GS and other banksters in his election campaign. Thom is right, we have to get rid of Citizens United.

...that Obama saw Frontline - or watches the daily news shows and thereby understands what public perception and opinon is regarding his actions.

I have to wonder if the president really does watch these things. I'd like to think he does, but I have doubts. I think Obama's "North Star" emanates from the mouth of Bill Clinton and his campaign coffer's top contributors - and nothing else matters.

For that matter - how can a man choke up over 20 American kid's deaths and write off kid's deaths in distant lands as mere "collateral damage"???

I wish I could rise to Chris Hedges calls for civil disobediance. We're down to our last options here.

Let's keep this kicked.

Papantonio is right about this. While we have citizens screaming about gun control (just called my new asshole of a representative on that one), we can add to the list the need to stop global finance terrorism. Screw Main Street, commit terrorism on Wall Street. "Give us the money to bail our evil nasty deeds out, or we'll have marshall law with a run on the banks.

Well, I say let them all get perp walked, let Seigelman go, and while we're at it, demand what Obama how Obama should have acted over this mess all along.

It amounts to little more than that, folks!

Sadly enough, we feel as if we must. It's as simple as that. I know how skeptical I was when Holder refused to investigate the credit housing scandal, the Rove/Gonzales firings of the federal judges, the Bush/Cheney conduct of a very illegal unprovoked war, or to even investigate the Siegalman conviction to see if it was entirely political.

It's outrageous, all of it. Who appointed Geitner, Summers, and Holder? Who appointed Emanuel for that matter?

I'm not proud of my vote for Obama. I voted for him because he wasn't as evil as Romney in my perspective. I was glad Obama won, but he deserves plenty of criticism for being unwilling to take on the big money. He never has and it appears he never will. He protects them.
