AlJazeeraEnglish · Published on Jan 25, 2013
Iceland President Olafur Ragnar Grimsson tells Al Jazeera's Stephen Cole that Europe should let banks that are ran "irresponsibly" go bankrupt.
Speaking at the annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Grimsson also held his country as a model of economic recovery after its near-collapse four years ago.
"We didn't follow the traditional prevailing orthodoxies. And the end result four years later is that Iceland is enjoying progress and recovery."
- He makes an excellent point. One that Mother Nature endorses, as she breaks down and recycles dead wood all the time.....

(20,453 posts)I think the only one who'll report this interview from he World Economic Forum is RT or AlJazeera, who has apparently agreed that Current TV is progressive to the masses the way other cable news isn't.
Those bankers love to privatize all their expertise in profit, socializing the debt. Worse, they jack us up the ass when betting on failure and rigging the interest.
This should be understood, but do you think anyone is going to be angry enough at the Obama Administration to pick up the phone or write and demand anything of it?
Thanks for posting.

(429 posts)by a President of a country. President Olafur Grimsson of Iceland seems to be the most intelligent leader of any country in the world with regards to handling his economy or any economy for that matter. I sure hope Obama sees this interview and calls him up for a nice long talk, and then figures out a way to implement his findings.
