I knew something was up when we got to the Harvard-Yale game today. Many cops

roared in on motorcycles...rumors flying about Obama coming to The Game with his daughter Malia, who attends Harvard. Another rumor said John Kerry was there. So I chatted up a copy who was on duty at one of the stadium portals. He confirmed that Malia was indeed there and who else?

The cop said the stadium was just too open to provide adequate protection for the ex-President to attend.

As for McCartney, who knows why he was attending. Maybe we'll find out tomorrow when the game will be reported in the NYT sports section. I called my son in NYC and he says McCartney is spotted around town often. He guessed that perhaps McCartny's wife was an alum of Harvard or Yale.

Oh, and the score when we left was 28-3 (I think).

My ex-husband (big Harvard man) called me two days ago to say "You are going to win the game."

Me? I have nothing to do with Yale. I just live in New Haven. I'll be forced to see him at Thanksgiving which is typically held at our daughter's house. But we are civil to each other.

Don't know.
Just guessing he may travel with a bodyguard or two.

7. Kerry is Yale '66 grad. Now teaching there as a Distinguished Fellow for Global

Affairs. It would make sense that he was there for this historic game, esp. this year when Yale had such a good team.
