I am impressed and kind of fascinated.
It's winner take all for a spot on the national team - And these women are playing the shit outta this game for it.

(12,132 posts)I'll watch every match I can. Never heard of it until they showed it one year a few Olympics ago but it's now what I look forward to the most.

So we clicked over to the Olympic Trials, didn't even know which sports were going on and in 5 minutes we were hooked.
I'll definitely be watching during the Olympics.
Until the winter Olympics wise up and put basketball and volleyball on the slate (which is when the rest of the universe plays these sports) curling seems to be the most compelling competition.
I am not much of an Ice Dancing enthusiast and the X-game type events don't really interest me.

(12,132 posts)because my wife likes it. (although every once in while someone will do a back-flip or something and that's pretty cool) Actually though, I do enjoy the commentators for skating - Tara Lipinsky and Johnny Weir are fun.
I do like the old school Ski jumping but yeah, all those other X-Games things just seem "made-up". Well, I guess every sport is made-up but they are less traditional so it just doesn't do much for me and I doubt I'll live long enough for them to become traditional.
