A 35 degree drop (or rise) in high temperatures over the course of a few days is far from unheard of in much of the country. Climate change may make these events more common, but still, I don't see anything totally freakish in your forecast.

our forecast looks like that for much of march, april and the beginning of may. not this year, though, it's just pretty much been warm

it's been see-your-breath cold two of the last three fourths of july and we broke 80 this st. paddy's day. we're looking at 80s later this week.

oops, new forecast: 80s early in the week and thunderstorms and snow late in the week.

And then up to the high 70s and low 80s by week's end. I prefer the 30s. I hate summer and spring heat. Give me winter year 'round.
