well well well even the Cowboys are starting to hate trump...

...I get a newsletter from High Country News...an organization for ppl who love the outdoors of the West and who work to preserve its beauty. I attend their local gatherings as a vendor for crafts so I see a lot of the ppl who support their mission. Lot of cowboy hats (well I do live in a cowboy town anyway)..lots of ranchers....lots of Trump bumper stickers on trucks (usually surrounding my Ford Escape with Hillary and Obama stickers). These people have lots of land.. think the YUUGE trump signs in fields. Big hunters.

So... I start reading the newsletter to find out the date of their next event and its very ANTI trump!! Phrases like....."now with the second year of Trumps administration upon us, we need your support. Please stand with us." I was a bit shocked and pleased!

Trumps policies are alienating even those I assumed would never waiver their support... but hes messing with something of theirs so I guess that can change a mind quicker than a foot slipped into a boot full of grease.

Are we talking about the same legendary High Country News?

They never supported Trump. The editorial position they take and investigative journalism they do is, because they care passionately about the environment, by default from a liberal perspective.

They try to enlighten the local "cowboys" as you refer to them and bring them on board, so they don't support any particular politicians by name.
