...I'd had enough of PF almost instantaneously upon hearing his "Comes Alive" record.

There are lots of acts that I liked at one time but after decades of hearing them over and over on the radio I don't care to hear them anymore.

I spent a winter in North Dakota one lifetime. The only decent radio station in town would have a "get the Led out weekend" about once per month in which they would play nothing but Led Zeppelin all weekend day and night. I called them up and made a request they not play any more Led Zeppelin ever again.
