DANCE, monkey...DANCE! FASTER, damn you! FASTER, monkey! DANCE! AHAHAHAAAAA! DAMN YOU!

YES, that's right, s you can tell from my thread title, I have an appointment with a prospective client this morning...unless he reschedules at the last minute again like he did yesterday.

Reached out to him a month ago. That resulted in a brief face-to-face meeting at his restaurant. There was supposed to be a follow-up meeting yesterday afternoon. He called me 30 minutes before the appointment and rescheduled for this morning at 9 AM. All of this has taken a month to play out. In theory, this should be the part of the process where I go out there and he signs the proposal he's had for two weeks, and I get a check, and I leave.

In reality, I think it stands a good chance of being a "dance, monkey, dance" morning in whuch he pushes the goal line out another week or two. I believe he is going to try to lowball me on the price I quoted, and I have no problem lowering the price to match the one he wants...by removing functionality from my proposal.

I'm looking forwrd to this meeting with the same apolmb I'd experience upon discovering a large, red, painful boil on my nut sack.
