Now, hot pants... all of the advantages, without the disadvantages. Shame they had such a brief vogue, but as I was 16 at the time, I'll just quietly smirk at those who were not so privileged.

What I never understood was the minidress-and-sweater look. If you're wearing a sweater because you're cold, why on earth are you leaving your nether parts open to the breeze?

(20,221 posts)Not being able to bend over etc. Even in high school in the 70s there were minis, midis and maxis. I had plenty of midis and maxis. I also had a pair of Dittos jeans.
