There is a live safari that airs, on line (www.nationalgeographic.com/video/safari-live/ and on Youtube), twice a day. Right now they are broadcasting out of the Kruger Park in South Africa and the Masai Mara in Kenya. They might be adding the Congo rain forests.

The guides are extremely knowledgeable, so even if there isn't a whole lot of animal activity, they hone in on birds, insects, plants life, and share lots of tales of their experiences. And they take questions from viewers, throughout the drives. It is my favorite escape mechanism. I've gotten some amazing screen captures.
