James Christopher Harrison (born 27 December 1936), OAM, also known as the Man with the golden arm, is a blood plasma donor[1] from Australia whose unusual plasma composition has been used to make a treatment for Rhesus disease. He has made over 1000 donations throughout his lifetime, and these donations are estimated to have saved over two million unborn babies from the condition.

For the longest time, it was listed as "unknown". Now it's advanced to "Very long wait".

I'm Rh negative and got Rhogam shots before and after I delivered. I remember when we were growing up, my mom thought my sister was the only Rh negative. So my mom would say things about how my sister would be at risk and could only have one baby etc. etc. (Glad I didn't know I was Rh negative. Didn't need to hear my mom's gloom and doom!)

I found out I was Rh negative when I was pregnant, fortunately Rhogam was common place by then.

Much of the credit goes to this guy!! Totally amazing!!!

Probably been giving since 1954 so 64 years? Holy cow.

He should get some kind of super recognition like from the UN.
