I'm going to meet my granddaughter tomorrow!

I didn't go to see them for labor and delivery because I had a cold and I didn't want to make anyone sick.

I've spent a whole week recovering and now I just can't wait to hold that baby in my arms.

I hope I remember how to hold a baby. It's been a very long time.

My mom & dad are going to go with me. It's bittersweet because when I talked to my mom about it yesterday, she didn't remember the baby, or what town we would be going to.

It'll come back as the most natural thing in the world. Wow. Congratulations.

Even after just one week she sleeps for 4 hours at a stretch.

My son did that too. He was such a good sleeper.

Thank goodness. My DIL was in labor for 52+ hours. That woman is one badass that needs to get some sleep.

Not for nothing, but my son is getting rave reviews from his MIL and from the nurses at the hospital. I somehow managed to raise a good one.

Sorry for rambling. I'm giddy about meeting her.
