introducing Mr Brinks Big Easy and Mr Wildcat

(there are lots of both, they have specific numbers after their names but for me the names are good enough LOL)
the black one is Mr Brinks and he is a registered Brangus and he is from New Mexico, the red guy is a Red Angus from Oklahoma. They are both about 20 months old.

just got them at the 42 Annual Bull Sale in Willcox last Monday. my sister and I are trying to start a little tradition of going to the sale together. 2 years ago I bought 2 bulls and she bought a pregnant cow.* then we didn't make it last year. this year I was not really planning to buy anything and she wanted to get another cow. sisters at an auction are not conducive to saving money. 
I bought these and she bought two cows and calves. It is a good thing they don't take credit cards or we would REALLY be in trouble. 
*that cow had a boy calf that year and so she got some of her money back already when it was sold, and this year that cow has a heifer (girl) calf. the two new calves are heifers too and if they all look good enough to keep in a year or so she will have increased her herd to 6.

They were the sweetest bovines imaginable. They liked to be petted and were as tame as puppies. The man who rents the pastures now raises Herefords. They are totally indifferent to human beings unless food is being proffered. Your bulls are beautiful. I wish you great happiness and success of them!
