Bad moral character, indeed!

Hard not to share a picture of such a majestic bird, bad morals or not. I always feel so lucky when one or both of these proud new parents choose to hang out on my side of the lake.

I live next to a lake at about 7000 feet above sea level.

This bird is one of a breeding pair that recently hatched and raised the first recorded eaglet birth here in Bear Valley in a very long time. Sometimes they both sit in the tree in the picture for half an hour or so before going fishing.

I always know when they're there because they make one HELL of a racket.

I have them in the winter. When they fly by the windows it is almost scary because they block out so much sun going by! They sit in my trees around the pond. I think they spend most of their time by the river and 1/4 mile from my farm. It is certainly cool to see them.

by the park, I heard something overhead -- it was one of these flying across the park. I felt so honored to see it.
