TV Show "Action" Episode 2... Peter Dragon talking to "Andre" ( A Disney executive who likes to be dominated by Wendy, Peter's girlfriend / prostitute )

Peter : Hey, that's Lloyd Blankenfield from Disney.

Andre : No, my name is Andre.

Peter : And my name is Luka and I live on the second floor

Peter : You Disney guys are all dumbfucks!

the funniest show I've ever watched... only lasted 13 episodes) Jay Mohr as Peter Dragon, Buddy Hackett as his uncle Lonnie, Illeana Douglas as Wendy Ward...

Now, I have to find this show!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Action_(TV_series)

Jay Mohr is a remarkable actor. Two roles he played stick with me. On "The West Wing," he played Taylor Reid, a TV political talk-show host who was sort of a cross between Bill O'Reilly and Chris Matthews. In one appearance, he gets the best of C.J. Cregg. In the HBO mini-series, "From The Earth To The Moon," he was cast as Brett Hutchins, a reporter who upended the NASA-influenced coverage of the Apollo program by focusing his attention on the astronauts families rather than portraying the astronauts as demi-gods.

He was also amazing in "Jerry Maguire" which I think was his first feature film.

Can't wait to watch this show and I can't believe I missed it when it aired! Oops.

I've had the great good fortune to be friends with Suzanne. I met her when she was at Barnard College when I was a couple of blocks north at Manhattan School of Music. Later, I followed her when she was playing clubs in NYC before she recorded her first album with A&M Records. She's a wonderful woman who is smart, talented, funny and compassionate. By the way, she's also intense and a bit of a shark!

As a record company, A&M did something remarkable with her. They trusted her. They let her make her first record the way she wanted it. While it's an excellent debut eponymous recording, its sales numbers weren't spectacular. With the second album, "Solitude Standing" however, there was clearly more company influence and support with the desire to push the record more aggressively. It sold over 1,000,000 copies. When the album was released, the unique and unfortunate coincidence of a much-publicized fatal child abuse case in New York City helped to make "Luka" an instant hit.

I have all of her records but for me, her first record still chills me. "Marlene On The Wall," "The Queen And The Soldier" and "Small Blue Thing" are pure musical and emotional genius.

Here's "Marlene On The Wall"
