I'd believe the TV show 'Survivor' if...

...the ladies' underarms and pantylines grew hair.
Until then they aren't "roughing it".

ON EDIT: For equal time...same with the guys. How do they remain shaven?

I seem to recall at least one of the earliest seasons where they were all pretty much eaten up by bugs.

I used to watch that thing regularly. The "jiggle factor" became a big part of how the show was shot and edited over the years, so I can imagine that oozing irritated parasite infestations are probably much less of a thing by now.
