You know how sometimes something just gets pushed to the back of shelf and sort of sits there? I mean, you can't just toss it. But after a certain point you wonder if it's still safe to drink? And so it just sits there? And you move, and it somehow goes along, and gets shoved to the baclk of a new shelf and just sits there? And you have no idea what to do with it? Well this bottle of Tab is like that. It's become sort of a totem. I'm starting to wonder if Antiques Roadshow would be interested.

(21,484 posts)I don't know what your Tab is worth, but it reminds me of this story of my sister: when she lived in the dorms at a Baptist college ('78-'80), she said she would go get two Tabs out of the vending machine, chug them, jump up and down, then walk up and down the hall in the (echo-chamber-like) dorm and belch for all she was worth.

... a really early version of what would become Wii. It was really cool for a primitive game. I forget
who put it out or what it was called, but you competed in all the events of the decathlon -- running,
jumping, leaping, (I think you stomped your foot to throw the javelin at the right angle and distance).

He also brought them two 2-liter bottles of root beer to make sure their gaming experience was
truly EPIC. Drove his Mom nuts and had all the men in the house in stitches.

I knew a girl in college that lived on Tab and saltines.
I never saw her consume anything else except booze.
She was majoring as a dietician.

(16,230 posts)The bidding starts at $100 with a buy-it-now of $130. So far there is no sale and no bids. So it appears that $12.50 ($100 divided by 8) may be more than anyone will pay for a single bottle.

(21,024 posts)Or not? Thanks. Maybe I can get my son-in-law to drink it. If he were to die I could sue the Coca Cola company.
