Ever have an XBox 360 break down on you?

I was getting these odd little lines and then I got this message, and the "red ring of death," according to all the information, the video chip inside is fried.

(And since I bought my system from Gamestop second-hand, it's past warranty.)

So now I have to save my money for a few weeks until I can get a replacement tower at Gamestop for $150.

Thankfully, I still have my GameCube and Playstation 2.

I've done that, it took a few washers from Home Depot. There are instructions online.

But Google probably has many others, and it's been a few years since I did it and so there may be more info now.

It wasn't that hard, but then I can build a computer from parts, so that may just be my perspective.

But it worked.
