Sophie Turner has limited acting range, and she had no chemistry with the actor who plays Cyclops. Like Batman v. Superman they rushed this story. At least the original X-Men had two movies with Janssen and Marsden before imploding the first Dark Phoenix "saga".

In all likelihood the movie will be an orphan (along with The New Mutants movie) as I see significant changes to the X-Men universe once the Mouse takes over.

Also where are the Shi'ar? Mastermind and the Hellfire Club? I guess I saw the shuttle.

in X-Men 3. I'm an X men fan and there are a lot of villains and plots they could be covering instead.
