Not the Swamp Ape.

The Skunk Ape was a plot point in an old Encyclopedia Brown story...

Hodge Podge the Rabbit and Rosebud the Basselope. There were 64 of them.

Cryptids by definition are creatures that are rumored but never seen. Potus Dotard is seen entirely too often. I wish he was just a rumor.

Not a coastal one.

A local playwright and producer/director of highly original theater has a whole series of plays known as the "Lake Worth Cycle" He grew up on Lake Worth and created a fictional family loosely based on his own relatives. The plays are really neat and quite fun. Of course the Lake Worth Monster is included, though never actually seen. Its name is Molemo.

He writes, directs and presents his own plays, we go to see them at the Hip Pocket Theater, which is a masterpiece of making do with whatcha got. Very offbeat and unique.
