(26,109 posts)it could mean that they already kinda know who they're going to hire, but that they think you would be an asset to the company. They like you, they really like you.

It's up to you what you want though, if you don't want what they want you for...that's fine. Too few people look at job-hunting as analogous to what it is: a relationship, basically...complete with dating and courtship. It's a two-way street...both you and the employer have to be happy or else neither of you will ever be happy and you'd be better off not-together.
