The Italian Job is a fun movie.

I just watched the ending (have seen the whole thing about 10 times). Always entertains me. Great cast--Charlize, Ed Norton, Mark Wahlberg, Mos def, Jason Statham, and Seth Green--he's my favorite---I laugh so much about the Napster shit.

Go watch that. It's great. I haven't seen this newer one.

I was really suprised at how different the original was. Two COMPLETELY different films.

Much as I like Michael Caine, the remake was much better. After all, Wahlberg, Green, Mos Def,
Jason Statham and Charlize Theron and Edward Norton make for one VERY cool team of actors to watch.

As good as some of those people may be, combined they aren't as cool as Michael Caine. I also doubt that the newer film has a soundtrack by Quincy Jones.

And much as I would have doubted it before seeing the film, they ARE as cool as Michael Caine.

At least in this film. They were wise not to try a sequel.
